Evangelists move to Japan

While relief agencies continue address Japan’s physical needs following last month’s earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster, ministries are teaming up to address the area’s spiritual needs.

Bible League International is partnering with New Life Ministries, which does “a lot of the printing and binding of Bibles and scriptures and portions that is used all over Asia and some other countries as well. The two groups have joined forces “to help supply churches with Bibles…scriptures and a portion called Manga Messiah, which is for the youth. It tells the story of Jesus Christ.”

Montgomery, the spokesperson for Bible League International says that “The opportunity here that exists now, especially for the churches, is that they’re able to go there…meet with the people and sit down with the families, counsel them [and] share with them,” them. http://www.onenewsnow.com/Missions/Default.aspx?id=1336186
